We visited our good neighbours Loughor for the first time this season today.
The game was a pleasure to watch with both teams displaying some open running rugby and both teams showing that they have adapted well to the tackling game. Gowerton took an early lead with Cameron B scoring all four of our first half tries. Loughor responsed well in the second half exploiting some gaps in our defence to score five tries in the second period. We managed to close out the game in the last period scoring four tries to Loughors' two .Other tries today came from Rhys, Ethan, Alfie and Reuben! Final score Loughor 45 - Gowerton 55.
As coaches we were really impressed with the team performance today. Defence is now working well and the team is beginning to communicate more effectively. Every single player is adding to the team dynamic and contributing well.
